Have you ever heard of osmosis and diffusion?
Explaining Osmosis and Diffusionby McKenzie Graham
No, what is it?
Well, osmosis is the diffusion of water across a semipermeable membrane.
Oh, but what does semipermeable mean?
Semipermeable means only some molecules can pass through the membrane
Well, then tell me what diffusion means.
Diffusion is the constant random movement of molecules from a high area of concentration to a low area of concentration.
Why do molecules need to move to areas of low or high areas of concentration.
Well, because it needs to be even, which is called equilibrium.
So osmosis and diffusion are molecules moving around and arranging them selves.
I'm so proud.
I finally get it now!
