Rosie, (Maddy's best friend) wants to go to the nearby circus. She loves The Circus.
Climax
The only problem is Maddy's big phobia is "circus clowns." Or any clowns in general.
Falling Action
Rosie finally gets Maddy to go to The Circus, but Maddy finds out that the clowns are undercover criminals, who are planning to poison the circus food.
Resolution
Maddy stops the criminal clowns in time, and manages to save everyone at The Circus, including her best friend.
The cops arrest the clowns, and Maddy tells Rosie why she was so scared of clowns.
Maddy is now a town hero who never has to worry about clowns again.
