Richard Montanez was a really hard working men picking up grapes in vineyards. He was born in Mexico but grew up in Guasti,a small town close to Ontario, California.
He was so poor that he even had to eat at a table that was shared with six other families. Richard had no idea that he was poor. He said "No one ever thought me what was on the other side of the tracks". Which means he did'nt know what was rich or whats it's like to be rich.
Sadly he dropped out of high school because he didn't understand his teachers and began to work in gardening services and washing cars.
No matter what he never gave up, his friend told him they were hiring at the Frito Lay company so he decided he wanted to work there and got accepted to work as a Janitor.
As a janitor he mopped floors, fixed all kind of machines, and more. But one day all the machines broke and he saw no reaction from the other janitors.
Richard knew this could be a better and greater opportunity. As he always said "Many times, greatness will come in ridiculous forms, a ridiculous idea might be a billion dollar idea".
