Storyboard Text

  • When I was young, I didn't realize the consequences of smoking...
  • Almost immediately after I started, I began to smell horrible, my teeth began to yellow, and my tongue became 'hairy'...
  • After over a decade of smoking, I developed COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). I had to get a lung transplant in my thirties just so I could breathe.
  • Smokers are 12 to 13 times more likely to die from COPD than nonsmokers.
  • Worst of all, my first child was born a stillbirth. When I tried again, my child was underweight and died of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
  • I wish I hadn't given into peer pressure. I should have said "No" forcefully and told my friends that I wasn't comfortable doing drugs.
  • Don't Smoke, it will turn your future into ashes.
