- mother! just the person I was looking for. I wanted to ask what you think. is the government being fair to us?
- well as you know for more than 100 years they have forcefully separated indigenous families. they would send the kids to residential schools where they were treated horribly.
- however, now they funded over $200 million in support to indigenous communities.
- oh so the conversation I overheard was true then. but do you actually believe what they say?
- I have faith darling. I don't trust them 100% but we well just wait and see. as long as we have a voice now and what we say matter then yes I believe.
