  • All in favor of George becoming president say i
  • the legislative branch makes laws
  • the executive branch would execute laws
  • The Judaical branch would enforce the laws
  • a slave is equal to 3/5 of a fee citizen
  • In the east room of the Pennsylvania on May 25, 1787 the Constitution Convention met for the first time. The first thing they did was elect George Washington as the president of the convention.
  • The President will be limited to four years a term
  • James Madison who was part of the convention proposed a structure for the government. They where planning on splitting it up into three branches.
  • Yay! it's finally done
  • After many debates Madison came to the idea that every slave would be counted as three fifths of a citizen. 
  • The decided to have one president. They did not want the president to become like the king of England, so they limited the terms to four years to keep the president king-like.
  • On September 17, 1787 the Decoration of independents was signed.
