The slaves did anything a white person told them to do.
I'm a gentleman, and we don't get our hands dirty. We let the lower class do our work for us.
I'm a slave and I do anything that a white person tells me to do. I am one of the twenty slaves who came to Jamestown.
Geographic: The Jamestown settlement was in Virginia. The location was in a swampy area full of mosquitos that carried malaria which was not helpful for the colonists. When Jamestown was at their last surving point John Rofle had gotten tabbaco seeds to start growing in the fertile soil of the swamps. The tabbaco grew so much and made so much money they became cash crops and everyone in England was smoking tabbaco. The colony had survived by growing cash crops.
