  • IDENTIFY
  • Ugh, I'm feeling so tired. Can't stay awake.
  • ACCESS
  • Better Sleep 101
  • PRACTICE X2
  • In, 1..2..3
  • Bob identified that she was starting to fall asleep in class and not focusing.
  • EXPLAIN
  • I noticed that I need to get more sleep to perform better in class.  My goal is to go to be earlier and not stay up playing on my phone.
  • Bob found ways to help her get a better sleep and to help her go to bed earlier.
  • ASSESS
  • Wow, since I started my goal. I have been feeling a lot less tired and my grades have been showing it! I got a A+ on my recent French test.
  • Bob practiced doing relaxing deep breathing before going to bed. She set a alarm on her phone to tell her to put it away so she could get a better sleep.
  • REFLECT
  • What are the things I struggled with? What can I further do to improve?
  • Bob talked with her teachers about her goals about getting more sleep. They tell her that her goal would be a good one to achieve since it would help her grades and performance in class.
  • Wow! Great goal. This will help you a lot with your grades and how you learn.
  • After about a week, Bob feels less tired and able to remember more from school. When she receives her first test back after starting her goal, she sees the benefits of getting better sleep.
  • Before bob starts her deep breathing before she sleeps, she reflects on how her goal has been.
