  • The Quartering Act
  • It is 8 and there is no dinner. Bring it to me now.
  • The Stamp Act
  • A additional 30 cents, insane. I could of bought 3 cartons of eggs with that money.

  • The Boston Massacre
  • In 1765 the British Parliament allowed soldiers to stay in the colonists homes. The colonist supplied them with food, fuel, candles and transportation. The Parliament added the extra soldiers so they colonist could be safe from the Native Americans and Spanish settlers.
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • In 1765 the Parliament passed another act called the Stamp Act. IT made colonists pay an extra tax on printed papers. It was called that because once you paid for it you were given a blue stamp. The money was used to pay off debt from the war. Te Colonists protested against the war and the act was repealed.
  • The Intolerable Acts
  • The harbor is closed. GET OUT!
  • The Boston Massacre started when the colonist threw snowballs at the soldiers because they were angry at the acts made before like the Stamp Act. Sadly, it turned out that the soldiers fired their guns and shot some of the colonists.
  • The Boston Tea Party occurred because the Parliament raised the tea tax. Colonists dressed up as Native Americans. They dumped 90,000 pounds of tea into the harbor.
  • The Intolerable Acts were caused because the Parliament was angry at the colonists. It was called that because the colonists thought it was intolerable
