  • The Call to Adventure 
  • I will bring the best of the gifts 
  • Aid 
  • Tests 
  • Perseus journey is to kill Medusa because he said he would bring the best of the gifts. 
  • Supreme Ordeal 
  • On Perseus journey he has two helpers they are both gods named Hermes and Athena. They both provide him with something helpful on the journey. Hermes provided Perseus with a sword and Athena provided a shield. 
  • Reward & the Journey Home 
  • Tests: On Perseus journey he had to face some challenges. Before he could reach Medusa he had to go find the nymphs of the North. Another challenge he faced is finding the Gray Women, he had to get her eye to get the information he needed.
  • Restoring the World 
  • The supreme ordeal is the hardest of them all. Perseus had to fight the gorgons and get Medusa's head. 
  • On the way home Perseus had to slay the sea serpent to save this beautiful woman. As a reward she actually became his wife and another reward would be Medusa's head. 
  • Perseus and his mother decided to go back to Greece.
