  • The Boston Massacre
  • Colonists disliked the laws. 2000 settlers died because of fighting. Britain was trying to control the control the colonies. Britain moved to the land that they won from the French and Indian War.
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • The colonsits had to pay for the British Troops. Many colonists treated soldiers badly. The colonists gave soldiers food, fuel, place to live, candles, and transportation.
  • The Intolererable Acts
  • 5 young men who were murdered on March 5th 1770, six more wounded. People in the crowd called the soldiers names. The Boston Massarce stared from 1 person.
  • The Native Americans climed aboard the tea ships in Boston Harbor and dumped 90,000 pounds of loose tea into the water. Native Americans would not pay King Georges taxes.
  • One law, the Boston Port Act, closed Boston Harbor. Sep. 1774 12 colonies gathered in Philadelphia to discuss the problems with britain. Colonial protesters tarred and feathered by colonists (5). They forced tea down the tax collectors throat.
