  • The Nuremberg Laws were laws that denied the Jewish citizenship in 1935. The Nuremberg Laws dictated who the Jewish could marry, where they were allowed to be, and they could not get medical attention. The Nuremberg Laws paved the way to the Holocaust
  • Kristallnacht means "Night of Broken Glass". This was the name for a violent attack on Jewish people in Germany. The main streets of a Jewish community, were covered int he debris of Jewish shop windows.
  • The Jewish community were isolated into overcrowded unsanitary ghettos. They were all sealed in walled and barbed wired fence towns. Hitler hoped they would all die from disease and starvation.
