One of the big draws of 2018 Kia Stinger GT is its twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6. With 365 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque hooked up to a rear-drive-based drivetrain (rear-drive is standard), it's an exciting proposition.

BMW has shown the new official safety car for the Formula E championship. Unveiled at the Yacht Club de Monaco, the safety car is based on a BMW i8 Roadster that has gone through some modifications. The Jaguar F-Pace SVR arrives a tad late to the high-speed party. Previously available with as much as 380 horsepower from a supercharged V6, the new SVR plays ball packing a 5.0-liter V8 beneath its vented hood. The supercharged mill punches 550 hp and 502 lb-ft through an eight-speed ZF automatic.
The McLaren GT, in essence, slots a segment below the 720s but uses a version of its torquier 4.0-liter V8, dubbed M840TE and fitted with smaller, faster-spooling turbos for a flatter torque curve.ts 612 horsepower and 465 pound-feet are mid-pack numbers for McLaren.
This seems plausible since Jaguar was already phased out of V6 , and the inline-6 is derived from the four-cylinder already in use, so it should fit relatively easily. Power should be right on par with the current car's 380-horsepower V6.
