  • Australia is the biggest island in the world. One of Australia popular physical features is the Great Barrier Reef. Its the biggest ecosystem in the world. It grew halfway down the eastern coast of the country, because of that there are many places to explore tne Great Barrier Reef
  • Australia has been colonized by Great Britain. Captain James Cool had sailed the east coast but 18 years later there was an attempt to make a colony there. In 1871 the Japanese immigrated to Australia to escape from war.
  • Australia is the smallest continent out of the 7. It's known as the island continent. The western plateau is a vast plateau that covers 2/3 of the area. The central lowland is a low-lying land between the western plateau and the eastern highlands. The eastern highway haves the unique Great Barrier Reef. Australia's climate is dry but in some areas it receives heavy rainfall.
  • Australia have beautiful outdoors. It have the longest coastline and many rain forests. Slang and humor is a huge part in Australian culture. Australia have a different type of humor that most people don't have. Australians use their mother language but with a flair. Seafood is highly important being Australia's 5th most valuable protein. Australia is well-renowned for their wine. Australia have cultural melting pots, restaurunts, festivals, events, and cafes.
  • Australia is very diverse and is made up of many different culture thank to migration in the late 1800s. Around 50% have family that came from overseas. Australia have a different type of humor than people that are non-Australian.  Australian average shows most Australians LGBTQ+ which shows that Australia is very open minded. 
  • There are about 500 different aboriginal people. Ever since the British took over, aboriginal people had their land either stolen or destroyed. Aboriginal people had reduced from 1,000,000 to 60,000.
