  • In this scene, Tybalt expresses his hate for the Montagues by comparing it to how much he hates the word "peace" as well. He shows how quick he acts by showing off his excessively aggressive nature and he constantly pulls out his sword when he sees a Montague.

  • In this scene, Lord Capulet shows concern for his young daughter by being reluctant to Paris's request to marry her. This shows how calm, generous and thoughtful Lord Capulet is.
  • In this scene, it shows how much Tybalt and Lord Capulet are similar, yet different. They are both consistent on their own opinion but they have their own ways of caring. Tybalt is too selfish and aggressive; he also has no concern for others that he insists on fighting Romeo. On the other hand, Lord Capulet insists that they should not cause a fuss at that moment and at his house even if their enemy attends the party; that proves how much Lord Capulet can be considerate.
