Storyboard Description
About the mummification process.
Storyboard Text
The first step in the mummification process is taking out the brain through the nose with a hook.
The next step is to make a cut near the tummy and remove organs and let them dry.
Next, place the stomach, liver, intestines, and lungs in canopic jars. Then place the heart back in the body.
After that, wash and rinse the body with wine and spices. Then cover the body with salt for 40 days.
Then, after 40 days, stuff the body with linen or sand so the body still is shaped like a person.
Lastly, after 70 days, wrap the mummy from head to toe in bandages and place the body in a sarcophagus, or a coffin.
