"lugging it near the cyclops as more than natural force nerved them: straight forward they sprinted , lifted it,and rammed it deep in his crater eye"(Homer 1118).
They are enjoying some wine and meat from the island.
The cyclops is eating Odysseus's men.
"o' hear me, lord, blue girdler of the islands, if I thine indeed, and thou art father:grant that Odysseus, raider of cities, never sees his home"(Homer 1123).
Odysseus and his men stab the cyclops eyes out.
Odysseus and hims men escape underneath the sheep so the cyclops can't tell.
The cyclops calls out to Poseidon to make sure odysseus and his men suffer in their journey home.
