Three prisoners who were born into a cave chained since childhood. These three only can see a wall and shadows.
These three prisoners has only seen the darkness for so long that they believe darkness is reality. The only type of light the prisoners have is the campfire behind them, and the light from outside the cave glaring on their backs with the shadows in front of them.
There is actual light and not just the shadows of darkness!
One of the three prisoners is set free and revealed to the light. His eyes hurt from the glaring light never seen before in his life.
Your crazy! He's corrupted, we must kill him!
Wait, what do you mean!?
The prisoner is free and explores out of the cave to only find the truth. The bright sun shines on him and fills his eyes with glare adjusting to the light.
The freed prisoner comes back to the cave to tell the other prisoners what he has found. But, the other prisoners don't understand what he is talking about. But, suddenly the freed prisoner is unable to see the shadows anymore.
The other prisoners think that the freed prisoner is crazy and they try to kill him because he is adjusted to the light.
