Storyboard Text

  • John is asking Linda if she'd like to come to a party/hangout with a few of the other co-workers. She delightfully says yes.
  • Thank you for the offer and yes I'd love to come.
  • So I was wondering if you'd like to come?
  • As Trevor, the newest worker at the job, walked past the room he overheard them talking about the party/hangout and decided to ask if he could come too. He felt it would be a good way to get to know his fellow co-workers.
  • As Trevor walked into the room, Linda's facial expression changed as she seemed more annoyed. John greeted Trevor and Trevor asked him about the party/hangout.
  • Hey Trevor!
  • Sup John, I was wondering if I could come to your party/hangout?
  • In the middle of John about to tell Trevor he was indeed invited to the party/hangout, Linda rudely interrupted him by making such a racist comment towards Trevor about the safety of others at the party/hangout due to him.
  • I don't think the workers at the party/hangout will feel safe with you there.
  • Sure we would love to-
  • And what exactly do you mean by that Linda?
  • As Trevor questioned Linda's intentions with her comment, he was also disgusted and in utter disbelief of how openly racist she was being.
  • I can't believe how blatantly racist and discriminative she's being!
  • John was also in disbelief and didn't tolerate racism or discrimination. He let it be known that Linda was no longer invited to the party/hangout and that she would be reported the boss, who also didn't tolerate racism or discrimination. This made Trevor feel more comfortable and safe knowing racism wouldn't be a problem at the business in the future.
  • I don't appreciate your racism. Not only are you not invited to the party/hangout anymore but I'll be reporting you to the boss.
