Storyboard Text

  • A discontent tadpole lived in a pond at the edge of the forest.
  • Everyday, he went close to the surface to see the forest and all of its inhabitants. He saw birds flying in the trees, rabbits hopping through the grass, and deer grazing on the bushes.
  • He was tired of his boring pond and wanted to grow into a frog so that he could join the creatures of the forest. After weeks of impatient waiting, his transformation to a frog was complete.
  • He eagerly swam to the edge of the pond to take his first steps into the forest.
  • Noticing a movement in the grass, a blue jay spotted him from her perch on a branch. What is that frog doing out of the safety of the pond? She wondered. Is he looking to become my meal?
  • Shaking her head at the silly frog, the bird silently dove down from her perch and snatched him up.
  • "Be content with what you have."
