The wood between the world

The wood between the world

Storyboard Text

  • Sage is running through the woods.
  • Why is it snowing? It's the middle of summer!
  • As Sage ran, she accidentally crossed into mysterious woods, and it began to snow.
  • Where am I? And who are you?
  • Unaware of where she was, she stopped running, and to her surprise, found another person standing next to her.
  • Hi, I'm Sophia. And we're in the Wood between the Worlds.
  • Oh my gosh, I have to get out! People are gonna start looking for me.
  • Sage realizes that she has to get out of the woods, but Sophia doesn't think so.
  • Nonsense! I've been here for ten years and no one has ever tried to save me.
  • And besides, isn't this place beautiful?
  • You should come with me! If you haven't been out of here in ten years, then you've missed a lot!
  • Sage continues to convince Sophia to leave the woods, but she won't listen. Part of the magic in these woods made her mind think that she belonged there.
  • I don't need to go back to your world. I'm just fine living here.
  • Well, if you don't leave these woods, then neither will I. You have to come with me, Sophia.
  • NO! I'm safe here, and so are you. I'm not coming with you because you're not going.
  • Sophia is mad, and she will not leave the woods-and neither will Sage.
  • Sophia, you're not safe here. These woods have done bad things to your mind. They made you want to stay here forever.
  • As Sage convinces her to leave the woods, she activates something in Sophia's mind.
  • Oh my gosh. You're right. These woods made me think that I belong here, but I don't. I'll go home with you Sage.
