  • *yawn*
  • Ok, you all know the story of the Gingerbread man: 'There was one an old couple who wanted some company, so the wife baked a gingerbread cookie, the cookie was naughty and ran away from them and soon leading to the couple, and many others who wanted to eat him, started chasing him; and not so long after, he came across a river, and a fox came by to 'help', and led him across the river to not get him soggy. But NO! He wanted to eat him like the others! So what did he do? ATE him while across the river.' The end.

  • !!!!!!!!!!
  • Actually, that's what NOT happened. Also, I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to say or write me being naughty for no apparent reason, and that all the poor old people wanted was to have some company, but that person must’ve been having some trouble with their senses ‘cause I’d NEVER do that. But the thing is, that never happened. Hi, I’m the Gingerbread Man, a little late to introduce myself, but I’m here to tell you what had actually, literally happened; just so, y’know, you don’t get any wrong things about me.
  • Outside
  • I woke up to heat, a cruel, deadly, heat. I was burning. Then, I heard an old, strange voice from outside wherever I was; my eyes were still closed by the way. I was also sleepy. That voice seemed to say that she'll go and check on something.
  • River: Forest
  • By the hear of that, my eyelids launched open, and I was in this brick-box like thingy, right next to a fire. Yeah, a fire. Imagine having a peaceful sleep, burns up, wakes up, and finds their in a room of bricks right next to a giant FIRE. Anyways, that box was starting to get close; and tiny; too tiny. It was the ‘walls closing in’ kind of thing, and I didn’t like it. Now, I was usually a pretty chill guy, but in my defense: fear could(temporarily) change some things about you.I started to panic. The box was shrinking; then I heard a noise. My overheated and anxious head whipped over to see the direction of where the sound was coming from.
  • Door. A door. An exit. I was saved! I charged straight for the little iron-looking gate, full speed(told you fear could do things to you, what was the door going to do when someone was charging towards it?). What I didn’t expect to know were three things. One, by the time I was almost head-to door with the exit, it was already opened. There was a window nearby, an OPEN window. I flew right out, before I could think or stop myself. Two, I landed on the ground; and was outside. I saw the most beautiful thing I've ever seen: a limitless blue sky, fresh air, with a breeze. It was perfect. But all of a sudden, the old woman, who seemed to have a husband with her, cried and called for me to come back. No WAY was I doing that; coming back to the people who trapped me. The last thing was easy: I LOVED to run.

  • You probably know the rest of the story: everyone started chasing me to eat me, then I came across a river. There was a fox who wanted to eat me too; but was smarter than everyone else. He tricked me into thinking he was helping me cross the river, but said THREE times to climb here to not get wet. And then he ate me.Or the straw doll I got from a farm that I used as a stunt double, at least. I picked it up from somewhere around when the cow started to chase me. It was a little girl's or something, and yes, a cow chased me, Oh, and I was acting so oblivious I could be a really good actor. It really did the trick with the stunt double and all. After that, everything else was true, the fox's tricks, the fox, my hungry paparazzi. I jumped into the forest, which was on the other side of the river. And I gotta admit: it was a really nice life to be free.
