A few days later, I was called as a witness to testify against Adam Lazan... and quite frankly, I'm ecstatic that I had the ability to have a say in the final ruling to lock Adam Lazan away, for good. This was a start, but I sure wasn't done.
Each year after the shooting, I organized a memorial that the town and relatives of the victims all ended to grieve over this tragic experience, that impacted tons.
My precious *sniffle* beloved daughter *sob*
And each year, more and more people came. This yearly memorial became extremely well known, that even people across the country would come out to support.
He *sniffle* was such a *sniffle* good kid
As I walked around cleaning up after the memorial, I couldn't help but drown myself in my thoughts. I thought about how tragedies such as the shooting are very avoidable and occur at the hand of mentally unstable people.
Why can't the world be as one?
"Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... You..."
"You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one"
R.I.P to all the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting, and my deepest condolences to the relatives of the victims. Why the violence? Why the hate? Why the crime? Why not love?
