- The Whitsunday Islands are the most popular islands located along the East Coast of Australia. Located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, it is made up of 74 islands. The largest Island, Whitsunday Island is also home to Whitehaven Beach. You can see the Islands from either scenic flights or by traveling on a boat. The Aboriginal Name of Whitsunday Islands are The ngaro.
- Rottnest Island is located on the West Coast of Australia and once was used as a military base during a war. The Quokka, a traditional animal, can only be found and located on this island. In addition, the Rottnest Island has a fantastic reef. It had a plenty of beaches and is great for swimming. You can also explore the island by bike. The Aboriginal Name of this Island is Wadjemup.
- Fraser Island is one of the largest islands in the world, however, the beaches surrounding it aren't that great for swimming due to its rough waters. The lakes within this island are certainly what makes it paradise like. There are many beautiful swimming lakes found here. You can take a day trip to this beautiful location and enjoy the exploration! The Aboriginal name of this island is K'gari.
