  • Rainsford sailed to ship-trap island while hunting in Rio de janneiro, and finds a house on a steamily deserted island.  "OFF THERE to the right--somewhere--is a large island," said Whitney." It's rather a mystery--" "What island is it?" Rainsford asked, (The Most Dangerous Game).
  • Rainsford must run away from Zaroff. He must use his surrounds to his advantage to save himself.  Rainsford had fought his way through the bush for two hours. "I must keep my nerve. I must keep my nerve," he said through tight teeth," (The Most Dangerous Game).
  • Rainsford won the game he swam all the way back instead of walking threw the jungle.   "Swam," said Rainsford. "I found it quicker than walking through the jungle," (The Most Dangerous Game).
