Storyboard Text

  • Romeo sped towards the village, where he met up with Benvolio and Balthazar. He discussed his plan with the pair before they  set off together.
  • Thou want to plunder the enemy coach?
  • Are thou Romeo gone mad?
  • Anything for my beloved, the beautiful Juliet!
  • Meanwhile, Paris had finally arrived at his wedding ceremony. The Capulets, who had gloriously prepared the wedding hall, were impatiently waiting for their daughter to show up.
  • Where is she?!
  • She still sleeps? The potion has done its effect.
  • Paris promptly sends Sampson, Gregory, and Abraham to wake Juliet from her slumber. Unfortunately, Romeo and his crew get caught up in the action, and a duel breaks out.
  • Prithee, but thou'll shall fight!
  • O Romeo! We've been attacked!
  • Gregory, Balthazar, and Abraham are slain in the crossfire. Romeo and Benvolio hops atop the coach wagon and drive it away, while Paris and Sampson give chase.
  • The chase is on!
  • Come here and fight like men!
  • Romeo, Juliet, and Benvolio finally reach the boundary of Verona, where a gate halts their progress. Benvolio jumps off the carriage to unlock the gate, and Sampson manages to catch up to him.
  • Be hurried, as I will hold thy Paris back!
  • Benvolio urges Romeo to escape, then locks the gate to hold Sampson back. He snatches Smapson's sword and kills him in a swift blow. Unfortunately, Paris shows up and does the same to poor Benvolio.
  • I have fallen to the blade of an enemy I once thought of as a friend.
  • A man for a man. Have at you!
