  • Sally just entered high and she thought she knew everything already because she had siblings before her go through high school so she thought she knew everything. On her first day she answered every question the teacher asked and never let anyone else try. Because of this, she was unable to make many friends her first year in high school.
  • Dress like you care.
  • James is staring out his first year at school and James struggled a lot in middle school because James got his priorities right. James parents told him if he didn't get his priorities straight he would have to attend summer school. James saw this as something he definitely did not want to do so he made sure he got his priorities right and James did and James finished off the year with A-B honors.
  • Treat your teachers well or else they wont help you.
  • Jack has never been a morning person and had trouble getting to school on time; usually missing the bus. When Jack entered his freshman year, there was an assembly about attendance. If you were late more than five times then you were required to come on Saturday and make up the time missed. Jack missed six days in a span of 3 weeks. He was told to come to school on Saturday and when he did, Jack learned he was going to clean up the school for the next 6 hours.  So don't be like Jack. Be on time.
  • Jerry wants to not only do well in high look good and not like a bum. So jerry dresses nice everyday because jerry wants to look professional and look like he cares about how he looks each and everyday and you should strive to not only do well in school but look good.
  • Johnny was an all around great guy. During his freshman year, Johnny took a really hard class.  His parents expressed the importance of making A's and B's.  His last quarter really stressed him out because his final grade was a 78. However his teacher remembered how polite and respectful he was throughout the entire year.  Because of his attitude and behavior she changed his grade to an 80.  So freshman, be respectful to teachers because you might need their help one day.
