Scott learned piano at a young age: he was taught by a music teacher named who dedicated her time to help him.
When Scott was a teen he traveled to music halls to play his distinct music form called ragtime.
Scott published two song called "Please Say You Will" and "A Picture of His Face"
Scoot started writing "The Maple Leaf Rag," becoming one of the most famous ragtime pieces ever created.
Scott created and published operas which were adored by many like "Treemonisha."
Scott died because of syphilis on April 1st. 1917.
