  • Scott published two song called "Please Say You Will" and "A Picture of His Face"
  • Scoot started writing "The Maple Leaf Rag," becoming one of the most famous ragtime pieces ever created.
  • Scott created and published operas which were adored by many like "Treemonisha."
  • Scott died because of syphilis on April 1st. 1917.
