This is the Tibet-Qinghai plateau Dominates southwestern china. And exceeds 13500 ft! Due to the dry weather the land only allows grass to grow. also, because of how high it is it is very cold. It is also home to two of china's major rivers.
Talimakan desert 105000 sq miles of the most dangerous desert in the world. The climate is to dry for vegetation and there is the occasional sandstorm.
The Gobi desert stretches 500000 miles across India! But is very flat. And there is very few plants and they are very spread out. And it gets to almost 100 degrees in the summer and 15 in the winter.
The Northeastern plain is located in Mongolia. With a vegetation of only grass. The Liao and Sungari rivers run through the plains. The plains have short and hot summers, but long, cold and dry winters. The plains are also used in many ways for transportation.
The North China Plain as you can see is covered in grass. And because of what appears yellow grounds people call it "the land of yellow earth". The yellow silt is also in the river making it look yellow, due to this they call it the yellow river. It is also one of the longest rivers in the world. The river brings good fertile soil but has often flooded.
The chang jiang basin brings good farmland and acts as a trading point. The good farmland is because of the river named after the basin. The river goes through mountains and plains then meeting salt water. There was belived to be a forest at the basin but is long gone.
