Storyboard Text

  • Jim and Huck travel at Night
  • The Wrecked Steamboat
  • The Raft is Gone
  • Huck and Jim can only travel down the river on their raft at night. They don't want to risk anyone seeing Jim in the daylight.
  • Huck's Guilt
  • One night they seen a wrecked steamboat down the river. Jim didn't want to risk anything so he stayed outside but Huck likes adventure so he went to look around on the steam boat.
  • Asking for Help
  • On the steamboat Huck hears 2 robbers discussing if they want to kill the other robber that is on the boat as well. The men end up deciding to leave him to drown on the sinking boat. They leave their goods in their canoe and Huck runs out ready to leave. Jim tells  him that the raft floated away so they steal the men's canoe with the goods and leave.
  • The Robber's Bounty
  • As they got farther down the river they found the raft. Meanwhile, Huck was feeling guilty for leaving the robbers. He thought about how he might be one some day. He decided to go find help to save them.
  • Huck found a steamboat watchman to ask for help from. He told the man that his family is on the wrecked steamboat and they need help. The man went to go help but, the boat had already sunk with the robbers on it.
  • Huck and Jim found their raft and pulled it in to rest during the daylight. They rummaged through the stolen items they got from the robbers canoe. They found mainly clothes, books, and cigars. Huck describes his kind of adventures to Jim.
