The War of 1812, which lasted from June 18, 1812 to February 18, 1815, was a war between America and Britain along with help from the I Indians. This war was started because the British refused to give up impressing the U.S. merchant ships. The war ended in a tie when both sides decided to sign the treaty of Ghent which stated that no land was gained of lost.

General William gave orders to surrender because of the British threat. Since he surrender there weren't any casualties no shots or cannons fired

Unfortunately Tecumseh died during the battle which dealt a heavy blow to the confidence of the British and Indian allied forces.

It was an invasion by the British of Washington D.C. during the battle of Bladensburg. During the invasion the White house was successfully burned and destroyed, then later rebuilt in the year 1817.
