John's parents died when he was 3 and lives now with his 85 year-old grandma. He has had always a bad temper and has gotten expelled from many schools
When John had a bad day at school, he got into a fight with the school bully. He was automatically expelled and sent home with his grandma.
His grandma sent him to juvenile detention. John was surprised that she had done this. His grandma has always been super nice to him and has given him what ever he wants. When his grandpa passed 7 months ago, she had always been hard to talk to
The day that he arrived at juvenile detention, had a bad feeling about it. The police officers yelled and screamed and he was barely fed any food. The food there was even worse than the school lunch. After 2 weeks had passed and he served 48 hours of comunity service he was let free.
John realized that he did not want to spend his life that way and that it terrible. On his first day back to school, no one seemed to notice that he had been gone. John made many new friends on the past weeks. Even the bully he fought!
John now gets along with his grandma and finally feels like a normal kid and is getting great grades. He is on the football team and stays after school to help out.
