The Toll House

The Toll House

Storyboard Text

  • Opening the Doors to Fate
  • We should be going through the back window..
  • It was already open!
  • Meagle, don't play the fool!
  • The burning Paranoia
  • shuffle.. shuffle..
  • We should leave! Ghosts aren't real but nerves are...
  • Don't worry! Didn't stick the candle enough.
  • The Duo Who Slept Like Death
  • Let's go Lester,
  • By Lord Lester is asleep!
  • As they all approach the house, Lester suggests that they should go through the back window because that's what the landlord told him to do. Meagle only laughs and decides to play to fool by making a joke out of it, and starts banging on the door. On his second knock the door opens wide open. This is the first sign of the haunting, because the house should be locked for the reason that it's still being rented out.
  • The Prank that Went to Far
  • I'll close the door, don't fall asleep- MEAGLE!
  • Guys, stop! This isn't funny any more!!
  • The light went out and hit Meagle on the head, causing everyone except him to panic. He brushed it off and didn't think anything of it claiming he didn't stick it enough. Barnes wanted to leave because both he and White kept hearing noises. This is the second sign of the haunting because how would the candle go out with no one near it and fall, just happening to hit the only person in the group making a mockery of it.
  • The noises that Could Drive a Man Mad
  • step.. step.. step..
  • step.. step.. step..
  • After White claimed he was hearing noises, Meagle made a joke about Barnes going out into the corridor, paying no attention to White. When they continue the game White doesn't make a sign and it looks like he's asleep. Lester and Meagle both attempted to wake him up and Lester panics, thinking that White is dead. After a couple of minutes of arguing, Barnes and Meagle get in position to carry White. They call for Lester but he is now asleep. This is the third sign of the haunting because neither of them seemed tired and they both wouldn't wake up.
  • The Night Apart of the Ghost Stories
  • Barnes and Meagle were both terrified because both White and Lester would not wake up. Meagle wanted to leave, thinking it was all apart of the prank. When Barnes went to close the door Meagle passed out on the floor. Barnes went out in the house, after not being able to wake him, to find the spirits. Meagle wasn't actually asleep and he tried to talk to Lester. He didn't answer, so Meagle thought they were now pranking him and he tried everything to wake them up, even burning White's finger. This is the fourth sign of the haunting because neither White or Lester woke up, even after being hurt.
  • When Meagle ran out into the house in search of Barnes he began to hear footsteps. There would be times where he would hear them downstairs and he would run to them, and times he would hear it upstairs the moment he thought he caught the noises. At one point he was running from the footsteps behind him, desperately trying to get away from them. This is the fifth sign of the haunting because no one man could go from one space to another so quickly.
  • step.. step.. step..
  • The next morning both Lester and White woke up, not remembering falling asleep or anything Meagle attempted to wake them up. White didn't even remember Meagle burning his finger with the candle. They found Barnes asleep in front of the balusters, the same place where Meagle had jumped. Barnes didn't remember going asleep either or hearing any of the noises from the previous night. They all looked down and saw Meagle's dead body. This is the sixth sign of the haunting because there isn't any possible way they wouldn't remember going to sleep, or hearing any of those noises last night.
