Oh my poor little boy! We have to get you to the Polio hospital.
HELP! I cant move!
I'm sorry girls but Bobby has passed away.
This is all my falt!
Why is Bobby not with you?
In the year 1944 in Hickory, North Carolina, Ann Fay's daddy leaves to fight against Hitler, because she is the oldest her daddy gives her full responsibility of the house and the farm.
Ann Fay I think I should bring you to the Polio Hospital.
No don't worry I'm just tired.
When Ann Fay's little brother gets Polio, she blames everything on herself and thinks that Bobby got Polio because she made him work to hard on the farm.
Daddy!! I have missed you so much
I have missed you too, I'm so happy to be back home!
A little while after Bobby gets Polio he unfortunately dies, and mamma is a big ball of sadness, they hold a funeral for Bobby, it was a very hard time for the family.
The life lesson I learned was that even though you have a lot of responsibility you have to try your best.
Soon Ann Fay get's Polio, and is brought to the hospital, she is worried that the farm will not be taken care of, and she is worried about mamma and the twins. Mamma is worried about Ann Fay, and dose not want to lose another child to Polio.
When Ann Fay's mamma comes to pick her up from the hospital. Ann Fay is super exited to leave, she hears daddy's voice behind her, and she gets even more exited to finally see him after all this time.
The life lesson the character learned was that even thought you have a lot of responsibility you have to try your best.
