The Quatering act was an event when The British Parliament made a law when Colonists had to let soldiers live with them when they wanted to.
The Boston Tea Party
The British started to put taxes on papers and paper products. This made the Colonists furious that had to pay all different taxes.
The Intolerable Acts
As time went on the Colinists disliked the British even more. Soon there were fist fights in the street. Then in Boston, violence broke out, a guard was attacked verbally and physically.
The Colonists loved tea, but refused to because it was the only unpopular tax left , and they were furious. So one night the Colonists dressed up like Native Americans and invaded a ship in the Boston Harbor and threw the tea in the water.

After the Boston Tea Party, the British punished them by passing new laws. A law the Boston Port Act, closed Boston Harbor. No ships were to enter or leave until the tea was repaid for.
