  • "Warn them off...Then fit out a ship...seek tidings of your father..." says Athena
  • Athena is discussing with Telemachus over food and wine about him, his mother, and his father.
  • Telemachus, Athena, and twenty oarsmen setting out to sea. While just before hand, Eurycleia prpared barely meal and wine for everyone on the ship.
  • Nestor explains the Greeks return from Troy and how there were issues between Agamemnon and Menelaus.
  • "Journey to Sparta...Seek further news from Menelaus..." explains Nestor
  • While Telemachus was finding out that his father was still alive, suitor found out of his departure and plan of ambushing him on his arrival back home.
  • "my fellow gods have taken pity...If Zeus wills it, then he's headed home. But not before I give him a voyage to remember." says Poseidon
  • Poseidon spots Odysseus sailing.
  • Odysseus is questioning to fight or trust Athena and chooses to trust. In doing so, Athena chooses to help him.
  • "As strangers...in the hand of Zeus, I'll not refuse to comfort to a castaway." explains Athena
