On April 18, 1775, The battle of Lexington and Concord was one of the earliest fights of the revolution. The American troops led by Thomas Gage attack the cities of Lexington and Concord. The battle resulted in an American victory and stopped the British from taking over the city of Concord.
On June 17th, 1775, The battle of Bunker Hill Came. The battle was led by Israel Putnam and Thomas Gage. The battle resulted in a British victory but with a high cost of men. The battle showed that the Americans could stand up against the British and possibly win.
On December 26, 1776, The battle of Trenton happened. The battle’s American general was George Washington and the British general was Johann Rall. The Battle resulted in an American victory. The battle captured supplies for the Americans and captured Trenton which would later be a big upside for the revolution.
The battle of Saratoga. On September19th, 1777 General Daniel Morgan Led an attack on a group of British troops. The British led by commander John Burgoyne. The battle ended with an American victory. This battle was one of the major victories for the Bluecoats.
The battle of Cowpens. On January 17, 1781, General Daniel Morgan and Banastre Tarleton with there troops fought against the British. The fight was victorious for the revolution and stop the British advance to South Carolina.
Throughout September 28 to October 19 The battle of Yorktown raged. The American troops led by George Washington and Rochambeau advanced an assault on a British camp. The Americans were victorious in there attack, and captured supplies for the revolution.
