- the quartering act allowed the colonist to house British soldiers. This angered the colonist because they didn't have privacy and its most likely that the soldiers were not very good.

- after the Boston tea party, the British made the intolerable acts. these acts say you can't have town meetings and cant use the Boston harbor to trade. this anger the colonists evenly leading to war.
