Phoebus had a white feathered crow that knew how to talk and sing, and a wife he loved greatly.
Phoebus was very jealous and kept a close eye on his wife to make sure he wouldn’t be deceived.
However when Phoebus went away for work, his wife cheated on him with her secret lover, the white crow witnessed everything.
When Phoebus returned, the crow told him what had happened, he was heart broken and went on a rampage.
He set his bow and arrow, killed his wife and destroyed all his musical instruments.
Shortly after he regretted what he had done, he accused the crow of being a liar and he began to pluck all the white feathers from the crow, took away his power of speech and cursed for all his descendants to be black and have a harsh voice.
