BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! My digital alarm clock struck 7:00 and I realized it’s my first day of school. I was excited but nervous at the same time because this was my first day of 7th grade at a new school. I could see the sun shining through my bedroom window. I walked outside and into the kitchen.
School
I poured myself a bowl of cereal and some orange juice to start my day off. I scarfed it down like I haven’t eaten in days. When I was finished my mother drove me to school.
Math
When I got to school the first thing I saw was the kids playing outside at the park. I couldn’t wait to see my new classroom.
Friends House

Then as soon as I was getting ready to leave this boy said, you must be good at math. I shrugged and keep walking. He asked me if I could teach him some of the math. I said sure and I called my mom to see if I could go to a friend’s house after school.
When we got there, he told me that he was new at the school last year and he was just like me, shy, and quiet, just like me. I smiled and laughed. We almost lost track of the time we were having so much fun.
