  • I remember staring at my paper, with tears welling in my eyes as my classmates handed-in their assignments
  • It was in my second year of grade one that I was diagnosed with a reading and writing disability.  I received intensive support in a special education class.  By grade 2, I began a slow integration back to the mainstream classroom.
  • Throughout elementary and secondary, I received special education support
  • This inspired me to begin my Inclusive Education Diploma
