"Just close your eyes and keep your mind wide open"
"I don't believe it"

"I have to show mum and dad"
Leslie sits in the local library while the rain seems to pour heavier by the minute, She thought about what her mother said to her before they left for the city, Leslie whispered the words to herself “close your eyes and keep your mind wide open” Leslie sat there and looked around she couldn't see anything to do, no matter how wide she opened her eyes.
Leslie thought about what to do, nothing came to mind until. At the very top of the shelf was a big book it said “Strange forests and strange creatures” “I don’t believe it” Leslie said shaking her head in disbelief. She had just found the book she was looking for. “ I need to tell mum and dad”.
"why didn't you ever show me?"
She ran all the way down the street and into the art expedition where her parents were studying the strange pieces of artwork.
She yelled “mum dad!, as she entered the large room covered with big bright paintings. Leslie told her parents about the book that she had found. Turns out the book that Leslie had found was the book her parents wrote for her when she was little and shy. They wrote it for her to help her boost her confidents so she could eventually ask someone to be her friend.
after a few years her parents noticed that Leslie was already making friends and they thought that there was no use in giving the book to her so they published it, Leslie asked her parents “ why didn’t you ever show me?” her parents just smiled and gave her a hug. Her mum said to her "you've come along way Leslie" Leslie smiled and hugged her mum.
