  • Montresor decided to revenge Fornutanto because his insult offended him, and now on this Italy carnaval season night, he will pay for that.

  • Obviusly, Montresor is pissed off when finally find Fortunato. He start mention something; he knew Fortunato weakness is the wine and he begguns provoked him with this divine.
  • Resolution
  • Quickly, Montresor arrived Fortunato to see the cask of Amontillado that he has acquired. The house completly alone, Fortunate coughing because hi is drunk, and Montresor taking it to a special place....
  • Irony
  • Puting Fortunato on the crypt, when he chained it Montresor started building the wall and being very drunk Fortunato did not realize what they were doing to him, he was confused.
  • Once the wall is halfway there, Fortunato starts screaming and Montresor taunts him. He yells, "For God's love, Montresor," and Montresor repeats his words. There is silence. The man does not respond. Montresor throws a torch into the only open area left. He hears the tinkling of bells. When he says that "his heart got sick", the last words were "rest in peace."
  • Verbal Irony: "I shall not die of a cough"Dramatical Irony: We all know that Montresor hates Fortunato and he plot something truly bad_(kill) on him. The reader knows what is going on.Sitational Irony: the way that Fortunato was dressed tell us that came with the idea to have fun, but nevertheless this was his end.
