  • No, my name is Rosa Parks I was born in 1913, I live in Montgomery, Alabama. And I was a civil rights activist.
  • Hello, mind telling me about yourself for a interview?
  • While I was fighting for civil rights I refused a bus drivers orders to give up my seat which caused an entire boycott to end racial segregation.
  • What did you do or fight for as a civil rights activist?
  • Yes, after that the bus driver called the cops and I was arrested but then bailed out later that day.
  • Did that act cause any problems to fall into your way and how did they affect you?
  • During the boycott people all around town started carpooling or walking to work to hurt the transportation business.
  • Earlier you said something about a boycott how did that play out?
  • Yes, during the boycott people were arrested and some homes were bombed but that did not stop the boycott.
  • Did that also cause any problems to occur?
  • after the boycott some laws were passed ending racial segregation on transportation.
