France is broke so the king and nobles had unfair taxes taxed to the peasants. This picture represents how the peasants payed taxes to the King and Queen.

The Nation Assembly at the tennis court and taking the other of the tennis court and pledging not to separate until they have written a constitution for France.
August 10, 1792
A mob from Paris stormed and took control of the old royal jail called the Bastille on July 14. The day the mob stormed the Bastille, it is now considered France Independence Day.
2 years after the Storm of the Bastille, the King and Queen try to escape but got caught.

After the king and Queen got captured and brought back to the castle, the citizens mobed the castle which resulted in the King and Queen to flea from the kingdom.
