The man had a sweet and kind disposition since he was young, and he loved animals. He favored his black cat, Pluto, the most. Pluto always followed the man around the house.
One night when the man was drunk, Pluto avoided him, but he liked it. He grabbed the cat, but when it bit him, he cut out Pluto's eye in rage.
One morning, the man slipped a noose around the cat's neck and hung it. He was in tears, but hung it in cold blood, knowing he was committing a sin.
One night at the tavern, the man saw a cat that looked exactly like Pluto, but it had a white patch on its chest. The cat purred at the man's touch, and the cat followed him home.
The man soon, for whatever reason, grew to hate the cat. However, when the cat almost tripped him down the stairs, he tried to kill the cat. But then, the man's wife tried to stop him, but he killed her with no remorse.
When the police came to visit the man's house, he tapped on the wall he built up to hide his wife's corpse, the cat screeched. Then the police took down the wall, revealing the cat on tope of the corpse.
