- Lieutenant Kotler will be joining us for dinner
- after Bruno and Shmuel long conversation Bruno said goodbye and headed home
- history is so boring
- later in the evening Bruno finds out the lieutenant Kotler was going to join him and his family for dinner Bruno felt very disappointed
- please forgive my ignorant little brother lieutenant Kotler
- after that had all seated for dinner Pavel went around the table to set the plates Bruno watched him and felt sad for him and noticed that pavels hand was shaking

- Bruno started to complain about how he hated history hearing this father got very angry and pointed a knife
- Gretel apologized to lieutenant Kotler for her ignorant brothers behavior and put her hand on his shoulder when Bruno heard Gretel call him ignorant he got mad
- Bruno insulted Gretel by telling lieutenant Kotler that she was a hopeless case and since Gretel likes lieutenant Kotler she did not want him to think of her as a hopeless case so she told Bruno to shut up but Bruno i return ask her to shut up and they started arguing so mother had to shout at them and father had to hit his knife on the table to make them keep quiet
