  • The French and Indian war was a conflict between France and Britain. It was a war to decide which nation would control the Ohio River Valley.
  • "It's all ours finally."
  • Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albony plan which was the uniting of the 13 colonies.
  • "Why wont they let us go west."
  • They created a treaty in 1763 which ended the 7 year war they cleverly named it the treaty of 1763.
  • The treaty gave Britain all of the land and France lost all power and control they had over any land including the Ohio River Valley.
  • Britain imposed the proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited moving west into the Appalachian Mountains
  • The war cost Britain a lot of money so they started to tax the colonies. The colonists became angry.
