Storyboard Text

  • Spain signed a Treaty with France, allowing France to take ownership of LA Territory
  • America, what would you say to having the entirety of Louisiana? All for a quick $15 Million?
  • On the the bright side, France is our ally...
  • We'd be more than happy to accept this offer. No worries, we'll take this land off of your hands soon enough!
  • So, a deal had been made.
  • However, Spain did not accept this.
  • Fine! If that's what will become of Louisiana, then we will revoke the Pickney's Treaty!
  • I can't believe America went and did something like that... Turning to France instead of us, and buying the land that we GAVE France too!
  • Meanwhile, at the White House...
  • President Thomas Jefferson
  • Spain made a poor decision... THAT'S for sure. I mean, how could they turn down the Pickney's Treaty, especially after all we've been through?
  • Oh, I've got it! Perhaps France can allow us to purchase the New Orleans.. Yes, of course! That way, America will no longer have concern over our trade issue.
  • Epilogue: The British invaded LA territory, removing all of France's ties to the land.
  • At last, we are growing this country at an astounding pace! Our economy will flourish, RAPIDLY!
  • THE END!
  • However, America was successful! Louisiana and the New Orleans now belonged to them, and were settled at last.
