Demeter ( Persephone and Hades Love Story)
Storyboard Text
- Hades kidnaps Persephone by planting a flower to draw her near where Hades can capture her and take her to the Underworld with him.
- Demeter, Persephone's mother, goes on searching for her for many days and nights.
- Eventually, Demeter gets help from Hecate and Apollo. They tell her that Persephone is in the Underworld because Hades fell in love with her and she falls in love with him while there.
- In light of the new information, Demeter causes everyone to suffer because she is suffering by not fertilizing the ground. Zeus then tells her that Persephone may return if she didn't eat any food from the Underworld.
- Persephone ate a few seeds from a pomegranate since she only ate a few. Zeus declared that Persephone will spend 6 months in the Underworld with Hades and 6 months in the mortal world with Demeter.
- The theme I took from this story is that the love of a mother is unfailing. What I mean is no matter hard difficult the task if a mother loves her child they will go through extreme tasks to protect their child. Demeter, also known as the love story between Hades and Persephone show how the seasons were created.
